Military Veterans free camping by permission is presently available in the remote wooded area in West Etowah County at 1000 Buzzard Rock Road Altoona, in NorthEast Alabama. 35952. If you are wanting to set up your tent for a week and enjoy some primitive camping, feel free to send a message with any questions you have. Viet Nam/Cambodia and other American military veterans are welcome. Entry to the area is only by a written permit only. Thank you for the service to your Country.
